I'm quite tempted to give it a go. Does anyone out there have a clue whether the necessary miles can also be purchased at the GA office ? I've done this with other airlines before. Otherwise I'll just give them a call first thing in the morning (I'm based in Germany) and ask them whether the digital membership card will be alright and how long it would take for the purchased miles to appear on my account.

I'm happy for everyone out there who already has an account and miles with them.. what a deal!!
