IMO the longhaul summer 2017 flights should be quite safe - just not sure if they might be already switched over to EW/LH flight/codeshare-numbers and what this would mean for (status-)mileage accrual.
German media report on the involvement of politics to secure the status of DUS/TXL and their important AB longhaul network by agreeing to have those flights somehow secured and operated by EW/LH.
