Has anyone else flown China Eastern recently? I booked an air miles ticket through my AMEX Delta miles and seem unable to choose our seats for any part of the journey NRT-PVG, PVG-SYX, SYX-PVG, and PVG-NRT.

My departure is now less than 24 hours out. I have heard that China Eastern has a buggy reservations system, is that true? Do I need to call the local Tokyo office or the one in China?
