I've searched around and asked a couple of people but keep getting different answers.

I have 2 of the BA Amex companion vouchers and I'm just about to receive my second "gold guest list redemption"

I wanted to book 2 separate trips but I wasn't sure it was possible to do. Obviously I'll be booking for 2 passengers and with avios.. and I have to wait a couple months to book...

Trip 1

BA first LHR-SYD in December 2017 returning San Diego to LHR in February 2018

Trip 2

BA first LHR-CPT November 2017 returning JNB-LHR 3 weeks later

Is it possible to book these? I've never used a joker before and not sure if open-jaws work with the Amex vouchers.

I don't have specific dates, I plan to take 4 months unpaid from work to burn through my vouchers/avios etc
