I know it's not the best use of points, but doing 2 rounds of transfer is just too much of a pain in the rear for me.
The best idea I've come up with for use of points is transfer to Korean Air and book a trip to Hong Kong first class. I think it's 165k round trip last time I checked.
Open to other ideas as well.
