BA will not be flying long haul out of Scotland.Passengers connecting from Scotland will pay the reduced/eliminated APD,so tickets will be cheaper.

This will no doubt cause some passengers to book tickets from Scotland instead of the other UK options,and use Scottish car parks/trains/hotels/restaurents etc.
