PS. If I am reading correctly, you are planning to get an Etihad bus from Dubai in time for a flight which departs at 8:30am - that's gonna be a horrible 5am (at the latest) wake up. I would suggest you keep the driver for a few extra hours and ask him to bring you back to Abu Dhabi and take a room at the Premier Inn (cheaper and attached to airport) or the Westin (far nicer but involves a short cab ride), which are both going to allow for a much more civilised morning, and for probably not much extra cost compared to staying on and spending the night in Dubai.
