I know the wiki says that MQMs are earned based on the route flown, but I can't tell how booked fare class plays into that. If FC is unavailable (sold out) on one or more legs of my 'new' flight, and I decide to take the downgrade to coach, how are MQMs earned? Are they based on the fare class I booked, or what I end up flying? If it's the latter, do I at least earn based on Y, or am I stuck with the lowest coach class available on the flight?
