on two separate PNR's but travelling in J on both flights

Do I have enough time to make it? I don't have Global Entry, how is immigration at this hour?

The last time I had a tight connection like this was BR -> UA at LAX connecting to MEX. Flight was schedules to land late at LAX, they had a BR rep meet me at the plane and escort me through passport control, baggage claim and all the way to the UA terminal.
