If you are up for a bit of history: a visit to the War Remnants Museum. It chronicles the conflicts that Vietnam and the Vietnamese people have experience from the French Indochina days, through the US/Vietnam War. Quite amazing, and moving.
It's in District 3. Easy to get to.
