I also have the Rimowa 56cm, never had any issue flying Y with CX. There was this one time I was travelling to PVG sitting in the last row and the last 15 rows of overhead cabins were full already. FA actually helped me reserve some space further up front for my luggage. (Granted though I have my tags on my luggage so that might be why they were helping proactively)
