DL really, really hates meal vouchers & has tried to ditch them in the past. A lot of employees are afraid to issue them -- I've had red coats pretend they didn't exist anymore before relenting and printing them.
In that case, I'm really glad they issued them to me. I knew Delta didn't like to issue them, but thought maybe they were loosening up on that. But to your first point, I was supposed to get home at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, and ended up arriving at 1:00 a.m Saturday. I'm not complaining about that or asking for compensation, because I know stuff happens. But wouldn't a delay of about 27 hours mean that the breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal vouchers I was issued were appropriate for the meal periods?
