Sounds like AC forecasted a misconnection.
AC115 scheduled to depart at 22:00z.
AC881 arrived late at 21:53z.
7min to connect INTL-DOM at YYZ?
Tariff permits the carrier to offload.
Passenger was likely offloaded once AC881 airborne and before AC115 had a posted delay.
