AC881/18DECCDGYYZ was likely delayed as AC880/17DECYYZCDG was late into CDG as it left YYZ late, likely due to YYZ weather event 17DEC. If it is weather, no compensation offered for the delay. Baggage is a different story, but aren't you now home? So if they deliver your bag the next day, what loss did you actually incur? Inconvenience, yes, but nothing monetary, right? I would suspect that AC will offer you a goodwill gesture like a promo code.
