If I put all my miles into DL this year, I would have easily made DL PLT, as DL/AF are the partners I primarily use and I fly a fair number of discount J and F tickets.

As a DL gold, I get upgrades about 30-40% of the time, including upgrades on award tickets fairly often.

Fortunately, I pile up most of my miles on INTL travel (partners) -- though not having DL will suck, I can probably continue to make it work with AF and BA if I so choose. However, I am still considering doubling down on DL next year and just trying to make PLT again.
I am in a similar boat here... I fly a lot of DL P fares and found crediting them to AS to be very valuable. Now I am unsure if I should double down on DL or start flying AA more domestically. I don't find domestic F in AA to be anywhere near the same level that DL F is.
