Well, even though I had changed my voa letter from 1 year to 30 days, the DAD visa office said they only could issue the 1 year multi. Had to pay the $135 even with the letter in hand showing 30 day single entry. They were saying some crap about the US embassy of which trying to tell them I used a visa service in Vietnam instead didn't seem to matter. We paid $250 USD and 6,000 JPY for 2 multi visas and 1 single entry for the Chinese wife. Hopefully, they say this visa is actually still valid upon returning within 12 months. They also refused to give the guy in front of us a 30 day and told him to pay for the 1 year.
