But then again, this being the BA Forum, there have of course been many recent reports of the bubbly stuff running out very early into a flight - and that would be a very unwelcome incident for anyone who really is intent on getting their money's worth via the glass.

Personally I've never been aware of short supplies* on my own flights - but nor am I much of a champers fan, so it wouldn't particularly bother me either way.

(* other than green tea on longhaul - which did upset me somewhat, although not quite as much as the rather embarrassed & apologetic CSD ....)
