Frankly, I don't even get food on board anymore. I buy a sandwich or other snack at the airport and bring it on board. That way, I can get whatever I want, and it's sometimes even a better meal for less money!

I wonder if the reductions in buy-on-board food service are a prelude to elimination of everything but a bag of pretzels and a drink...although I'm not sure why, because I can't imagine that US loses any money over a contracted food service.
