Do we have a chance of getting on LHR-ATL instead if we ask? Or, LHR-ATL-BOS (and getting off at ATL)? Does it help our chances that these 2 options are on Delta and not Virgin Atlantic? What tact should we take?

Do we go crazy and ask for ATL-LHR r/t?

Thanks!
On April 6, Delta has a flight of its own (DL 59) that is scheduled to leave LHR at 9:35 AM and arrive at Boston at 12:12 PM. You could certainly ask that you and your wife be moved to that flight.
