No regrets or second thoughts. After many years 1K, last two were Platinum, but UA kept shoving me out the door with more changes I don't like again this year. 2017 will be MP Gold, and that thanks only to 1MM.

If anything, cutting the cord has been a very rewarding travel and learning experience, as my travel pattern hasn't changed that much, just the airlines. There are some really good ones out there, and after all those years and miles on UA, I have consistently found the grass really is greener.
