This is the most inane idea I've ever heard of. There are people who suffer from a very real fear of horses. Horses are very intelligent, sensitive animals and can definitely tell when they're around a person who's afraid of them. Being in a confined space with an animal that can weigh in excess of 900 pounds and knows you're afraid of it is a recipe for disaster.
