Yes, the Butcher's Shop in Sandton Square, close to the InterContinental and Michelangelo hotels is good.

BUT - and a big BUT - be very careful about what you order and paying for what you get. They have a certain reputation for milking visitors. In particular, the wine bottles on the tables are often 'vintage' wine, and it is easy to order a type of wine from the wine list and be presented with 'vintage' wine at far higher prices.

I was with one group where this became an issue (I wasn't paying ) and in the end, the bill was reduced by 10% in an effort to clear the air and restore civility. Not what you'd want after a good meal!
