I value AC, not because it is a great experience (which it certainly isn't), but because I live in the middle of nowhere and it provides relatively convenient flights when I need to get out of the boonies and get a taste of civilization. I've been an Aeroplan member for almost 25 years, which has provided me with great value in terms of free flights. For all of you big city folks, I'm glad you have airline choices and I hope you appreciate them, but I'm happy to have AC in the same way that I'm happy to have electricity and running water (now, if only I could get decent internet speed out here...)
