With regard to the above. You mean I can do AKL-HKG-JFK as a transit, then return to HKG from N/A without violating the rules? I thought this applied only if if the flight was a direct flight; i.e., AKL-(HKG)-JFK with one flight #. You mean I could do AKL-HKG and HKG-JFK with 2 different flight numbers, as long as HKG was a "transit"; i.e., < 24 hours?
