I am doing a mileage run YVR-ICN-SGN between Christmas and New Year's and will be on the ground for two days in SGN.

I was there last 15 years ago. I suspect its changed a lot.

I don't need to do any sightseeing (although the Cao Dai temples are an option), but would be keen for some tips on restaurants or shopping spots in the big city that I might otherwise miss. Staying at Renaissance. Happy to go for fine dining or street food - just looking for a couple of fun experiences.
