I am glad it went well. I am sure it was a stress as the departure came closer wondering if it would all follow along. I took Air China once from JFK-PEK in F. It was a last minute reservation made by UA because they canceled a flight. The Air China flight was excellent. I really thought it was one of the best F experiences I had had (certainly MUCH better than UA). I felt rather safe since the reservation was just made. I found out that UA messed up all my ongoing flights when they reissued the ticket. Air China was fine, UA messed it up. However I am not sure I would rush to risk Air China again, certainly not if I am connecting onward.
