If we make a very broad assumption that 25% of MF will strike, there's no way that BA are that far overstaffed in every cabin though, so they can't simply try and split the available excess across other flights and still run a full service. It may mitigate a little, but something will have to give.
What and where will be down to BA's planning. Destinations where there are JVs in place and the partners have capacity are obvious places to start, so NYYC is an obvious example where an offer to move over to AA might happen - indeed, I'm on AA metal after Christmas, returning early in the New Year, and the current J load on my flights runs at 66% out and 50% return, so there's probably spare capacity to play with depending on when the strike dates are.
