To further obfuscate the issue, QR on its own website states that the lounge in Mumbai is the MALS Premium Lounge . The website does not even mention that there actually physically exists a MALS Business Lounge.

To try and set the record straight, I have reached out to Mr. Richard Oliver, USA Country Manager for Qatar Airways. We have exchanged emails and I have talked with him over the phone. He has committed to clarifying the situation regarding QR's lounge access rules at BOM. If he does so, I will be delighted to post his response on flyertalk.
