Instead of voting on a fantasy program that does not exist, it would be a better use of time to just pick the best hotels and hotel program that meets one's needs for the future. The new program has been put out there. If it works for you, great. If not, time to reassess and move forward. Do what is best for you and don't tie yourself to a program that no longer serves your needs.

I moved to Hyatt a year ago from SPG (following concerns over the Marriot merger). 37 stays later, and although I have only managed to use 1 of 8 DSUs, I have been very happy with the Gold passport program. I liked the quality of the food at Hyatt's and the service levels. I liked most of the Hyatt properties I have stayed at. The Hyatt footprint was an issue but I could have worked around that.
Unfortunately the new program is a deal breaker for me. On my business trips we have to stay at our discounted rates. My personal vacations are not sufficient to make up the dollar requirements unless we pick out high rates.
Several other changes to the program also lower its value to me.
So 2017 will be my last year with Hyatt.
