That's also the case in Germany, where it's very much less evident. You've got to really watch out when you're in built up areas, where rechts vorfahrt is very common. I can't believe that such a stupidly dangerous practice still exists. Even the French got rid of it, and that's saying something because in the not so distant past France was one of the most dangerous places to drive.
