Do the border guards (and the airport operator) allow pax to access the Non-Schengen part with a boarding pass from a Schengen flight? Lets assume the pax have the right to enter and leave Schengen at will.

Anything official on that?

We soon have a 4 hour layover at BRU. We know the city of Brussels already.
I think the border agent did check my boarding pass for B->A, no idea about the reverse though. However, if you have an e-gate capable passport you could just use them without any border agent interactions. (The B->A transfer area has e-gates.)

Going B->A is however likely to be easy anyways if you completely exit through normal immigration, then enter through normal security (since immigration for non-schengen is after security?).

No idea about A->B though, do they have e-gates there?
