I've had a change in arrival time by 5 minutes during flight trigger rebooking of my connecting flight over two hours after arrival. This when the arrival went back to as scheduled long before flight landed.

Only found out when went to board and BP beeped. No space now for me, I insisted on being rebooked on OAL nonstop. This was international J, so it cost them a pretty penny.
