My favourite was on Qantas when flying into Sydney after a very long 22 hours from London they played "I still call Australia home" by Peter Allen over the speaker system. Couldn't fail to bring a tear to my eye as we flew past the Harbour Bridge and Opera House! Not sure if it was being patriotic, or just jetlaged, tired and emotional after a such a long trip!
Qantas had a great video this summer which they played during boarding on every one of my six segments with them, Postcards of Australia...along with the music, which included the Peter Allen track, they showed various video segments of QF destinations - mostly Australia but it was a good feeling seeing the Statue of Liberty when boarding a plane in Cairns, a very long way from NYC!
