Yes you do get free seat selection but sometimes you have to call.

With an economy seat do One World Emeralds get free seat selection and if not what is the cost ?

Yes you do get free seat selection but the process is painful,you have to call and
hope to get it sorted out on the first call

On a short haul eg LHR to MAD is Iberia economy better than BA ?
