We're doing it again this week (yikes!!!) but this time with two kids in tow using Avios, 2x Amex 2-4-1s and 2xGUF1/2. On this occasion we had the benefit of being able to use a GGL joker but previously I looked 355 days out and remained flexible with dates.
We have a similar model Newly Wed. Plenty of points and three Amex vouchers between the wife and I. And also about 2.6 million IHG points for hotels.

like others in the thread, I'm really pleased to know it's a possible. Sods law says the BA Avios flight planner tools are down right now but knowing of success stories and options to achieve it is great news. I'd previous written it off. Cheers
