So several months ago, applied for a Business Platinum 100k offer and got the points, and recently closed the card (just a several weeks ago in fact). And just a few minutes ago, I have an offer under my Everyday card:

"Earn 75,000 Points: As a valued Card member, you're pre-approved to apply for the Business Platinum Card with a welcome offer of 75,000 points."

Requirement is to spend $5,000 within 3 months.

I went through the terms and there doesn't appear to be any once per lifetime language or once per 12 months.

Why would AMEX present me with this offer so soon after cleaning them out for 100k, $200 airline credit, and cancelling quick enough to get my Annual Free refunded?
