Here's the thing, I have the Delta Reserve and Delta Plat Amex cards. I've techincally earned the MQD exemption 3x over both these cards. Both cards are joint accounts. I wonder if I can get them to give the MQD waiver to my wife as well so she gets silver? Maybe I'd have to change the Reserve to her skymiles acct? At least that way I could still gift the MQM's to myself. Anyone ever tried anything like this?

DL makes a lot of exceptions, but this will not be one of them. They don't make exceptions in general for the Medallion Program.

Could you reprogram your cards and spend for status next year? Possibly.

But for this year? No way that you can make changes in time for the spend waiver to hit her account, and no way DL will make any exceptions on it.
