In terms of pilot experience levels, there is really not much difference between BA and the LCC's (BA have been taking low houred guys from CTC flying school for a while now, the same as easyJet etc).
The chaps that BA take from schools like CTC are pre-selected and sponsored by BA, the first batch of cadets started flying the line in 2013. It's a scheme which they run alongside poaching experienced pilots from other airlines.
Compared to the hundreds of 'self sponsored' guys that easyJet and Ryanair take each year from those schools (and they have been doing so for years) it doesn't really compare.
It's certainly fair to say that experience level of the average Ryanair crew would be lower than that of the average BA crew.
