Might be a bit sad, but I do like it when airlines play music as you are getting on and off a plane as well as on take off and landing. I think it gives the flight a bit of atmosphere and more than just being on a bus with wings!

My favourite was on Qantas when flying into Sydney after a very long 22 hours from London they played "I still call Australia home" by Peter Allen over the speaker system. Couldn't fail to bring a tear to my eye as we flew past the Harbour Bridge and Opera House! Not sure if it was being patriotic, or just jetlaged, tired and emotional after a such a long trip!
