Just asked the CX check in counters (Service Desk) today at SIN Changi Airport based on the e-ticket number I given to them, they said yes, I can do separate check in - I can check in 18 hours early while my parents check in 3 hours before departure.

That said, 18 hours is too much. You can cover almost everything airside in SIN in 3 hours

Yea I wanted to experience them all without rushing - 3 hours might not be enough.

Note: Most of the facilities (Especially good looking and interesting ones) can only be found inside the restricted area. (Airside)
