Called after my Aviator Red's annual fee posted and when I told the first CSR I wanted to cancel because of the annual fee, she said there is likely a way to waive it and transferred me to a specialist who then said the first CSR was mistaken and gave me 500 miles for the error then offered me downgrade options, no fee waiver. I said I'd think about it. Called back a week later and this time the specialist offered me a fee waiver, which I took. Edit: this was my second AF waived on this card.
