Hi all -

First off, apologies if this is asked and answered already. I did my best to find the info and have failed (including reading the lovely upgrade thread).

My partner is booked in full fare Y (due to work policy). I'd like to upgrade the booking to WTP, and there is space available for redemption. Should a change then need to be made to the booking, does it lose any of it's normal flexibility? I'm certainly not expected the upgrade to tag along, but can the upgrade just be removed if needed, and the reservation rebooked as needed?
