I agree, the new Pier J lounge is wonderful. I flew on B-LRA HKG-BKK back in August shortly after it entered service but was stuck in Economy and the tail cam was inoperable.

I have the opposite experience in terms of CX though. I find their service standards are quite good but the food (in J) is meh. I had excellent service out of MEL with acceptable food and same with HKG-JFK.
