I have, in the past, bought a ticket LAX to LHR connecting in AMS, because it was cheaper than the LAX-AMS fare. Upon arrival in Amsterdam I went to the KLM ticket counter, told them I no longer wished to go on to LH, and they cancelled the AMS-LHR and LHR-AMS leg for me. Is this no longer possible?
