I'm flying ORD--BKK via TPE with this new service in February and I'm wondering if anyone who has flown it so far can comment on the check-in experience. I'm hoping to take the bus from WI to ORD and it arrives at 10:00 pm so I'm wondering if 2h20m should be enough time for check-in and security before the 12:20 am departure. This is also my first time flying EVA Air so any other comments on the in-flight experience are appreciated (flying coach). Thanks in advance!
I haven't flown it yet, but you should have plenty of time, especially as it is relatively dead at that hour at any terminal in ORD. I think the only other flight around then is Asiana to ICN and they leave 30 minutes earlier.
Was on the last flight out of IAD several months ago (LATAM to LIM) on an 11:30p flight. It was surprisingly quick through security and the entire terminal was dead.
