As a world traveler who has seen over fifty different countries, I still get nervous flying into cities in Third World Countries. As I get older and tire easily, I am not as open to the hassles I know that will face me after flying 12 hours in coach and arriving in chaos.
Tell us some horror stories about the hassles you faced when you flew into the airports of Third World hellholes! (Touts, Guides, fake officials, and beggars.)
What are your stories?
I don't get too worked up over touts and such, so I don't really have any colorful tales. Then again I don't look at most places as "Third World hellholes". Though the old setup for United Express at IAD might qualify as a hellhole.
