You're right! - You don't turn a company around by going on strike... But most of the unions around doesn't consider that element. As long as they get what they demand (at least for the time the company is still around)who cares of what happens in a year or two... If a collaps of the company does happen, they will, as your predict, be squealing - very loudyly - of the bad management performace of the company...

Ohhh well... I have contingency solutions prepared, should anything happen!
