As I indicated up-thread, when I lived in the neighborhood, I thought it was the best market around -- far better than the Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and Fairway nearby (better product; competitive pricing). But I never had any desire to eat in the restaurants, not because I judged them to be bad, but because the atmosphere did not appeal to me for dining. I would on occasion get gelato, if the line was not too long, and thought their gelato was awesome.
We looked for groceries and for some place to have a quick-is (30-45 minute) lunch. Found the groceries to be overpriced and the lunch options to be uninspiring. Cloudship's comments hold for us, too.
Ended up at Hill Country Chicken instead.
