Need to transfer MP to Amex FFP partner. Which one?

Hi everybody!

First time poster. I want to transfer my American express membership rewards points to a frequent flyer mile program very soon as I want to cancel my card before the annual fee goes into effect. So I need to be looking at one of the 17 airline transfer partners they have. Not sure what to transfer to.

I'm leaning towards Singapore Airlines Kris Flyer but there are a few special better than normal offers right now and not sure if I should consider them. Namely Aeromexico at a rate of 1000:1600 points, Alitalia 1000:1400 points, and Iberia Avios 1000:1200 points. These would be all new FFP to me. I'm leaning towards Kris Flyer which is just the 1000:1000 because I think they have a good redemptions around the South Pacific, either to get there or between the islands (if I'm not mistaken). I've heard that Flying Blue 1000:1000 points is good for the Caribbean.

I'm not looking for this to be my new primary FFP. I don't plan on earning many more miles with this FFP, just want to use about the 51k points I have for flight or two. Though if this FFP has a good cobranded credit card I may join that later. The only FFP that I can transfer to that I have an existing account with miles and is Delta SkyMiles, which I don't necessarily want to transfer to.

I plan to travel long term (1-2 years) that won't start for another 1.5-2 years so I'd like some miles that are not hard to keep from expiring.

I've done long term travel before around Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe so I'm not really looking to travel around those parts as much, especially with Air Asia and other low cost carriers so cheap. Also I traveled overland a lot and I'm not sure I would need that many redemptions on the future trips.

Any advice for me? Especially between those 5 FFP?

(1) What is most important to you in a FFP?
(upgrades on travel, priority services when flying the airline, extra baggage allowance, good award redemption rates, better award access, free - discounted lounge access, etc.)
Reply: good award redemption rates, better award access. Right now I'm leaning towards awards that would take me around islands the South Pacific or the Caribbean and not sure what's best for that. Places that might be a little more difficult to get to. Possibly Central and South America though I may not need that many flights around there either cause I can connect soon most of it overland. That this is not set in stone.

(2) How many miles do you usually fly each year & in what class? How many flights/sectors?
(<25000, 25000-50000, >50000 miles - <25, 25-50, >50 flights?)
Reply: I am an infrequent flyer, probably only two long haul trips a year. <25000 miles, <25 flights.

(3) What types of fares do you usually buy ?
(First, Business, Premium economy, Economy, cheapest)
Reply: I usually buy the cheapest flights.

(4) Can you choose your airlines and/or class of service? Airline most flown? Do you travel for work and/or pleasure?
Reply: I mostly fly United and travel for pleasure.

(5) Which routes and airlines do you fly most often
(US Domestic, Transpacific, Kangaroo, in Asia etc)
Reply: Mixed. I prefer not to fly domestic. Either Intl, Transpacific, or between Caribbean or South Pacific islands. Destinations not set in stone but I am more interested in.

(6) What is your home airport?
(SFO, SCL, London LHR, HKG, Singapore SIN etc.)
Reply: My home airport is LAX.

(7) Do you have FFP status of any kind in an airline? What is it? Do you have any miles banked in a FFP?
(AA Executive Platinum, UA 1K, LAN Comodoro, etc)
Reply: No

(8) Preferred Airlines
I'm not really tied to any specific airline but I fly United the most. I also earn miles with American and Delta. My favorite airline is Emirates but I don't see myself buying there a lot.
