But for the record, I've sat there - intentionally - MANY times on longhaul sleeping flights. The way 77H is designed, PEY pax do NOT come up to the J cabin (unlike 77G). That's because they both have their own lav on 77H, and because the J cabin is massive from rows 15-26 plus a galley, and the J lav is in FRONT of the galley, deterring them from walking through (unlike 77G, where there are only 3 rows and a J lav is located next to row 24 behind the J galley, making it an easy call for PEY pax to go up and use the J lav. Also 77G doesn't have a PEY lav).
I take 26A over 26K as the PEY lav is on the K side. Occasionally pax congregate there and you can hear the lav door open and close if you're really sensitive. A side doesn't have this.
Basically, 26A usually has zero foot traffic except for FAs going between cabins.
The downside is meal choice, deplaning last in J (if that's an issue for you, although the FAs will militantly not permit PEY or Y pax from deplaning until you do), and once I've seeen FAs permit PEY pax to store a bag in the overhead above my seat due to space issues. But I think I've sat in 25 or 26A 20x longhaul before, and this has happened only once.
Service attentiveness is definitely superior in the mini-cabin. When I'm considering 26A, fyi it's usually for a sleeping flights when I don't give 2 squats about eating. And in those cases it is a perfect seat.
26A was excellent. I chose it over 26K because of the PEY lav. It was incredibly quiet and private. The extra shelf space behind the seat was convenient too. Meal choice wasn't an issue, as I'd pre-ordered a special meal.
